Recipe of Manchurian | How to Make Manchurian at Home

Hello Everyone Today we make the interesting recipe of Manchurian. It is an Indo-Chinese recipe and is very tasty to eat. We can add Veg Manchurian in many dishes such as fried rice, pulao, Masala rice, and many more.

Veg Manchurian is made by many vegetables like cauliflower, Cabbage, Carrot, etc. But today we made Manchurian using Cabbage. Manchurian made by cabbage is very tasty and crunchy. And the main thing is it is easily Made at home with very fewer ingredients. So let’s start our recipe.Manchurian

Ingredients:- (For Manchurian Bolls)         

  • Cabbage – 200 gram (finely Chopped)          z
  • Green coriander leaves (3-4 tbsp)
  • Ginger garlic paste (1-2 tbsp)
  • Gira (1 tbsp)
  • Oil (1-2 tbsp)
  • Gram masala (1 tbsp)
  • Salt (As per taste)

Ingredients:- (For Gravy)

  • Corn flour (1-2 tbsp)
  • Cabbage (2-3 tbsp) finely chopped
  • Capsicum (2-3 tbsp) finely chopped
  • Onion (3-4 tbsp)
  • Tomato sauce (2-3 tbsp)
  • Soya sauce (2-3 tbsp)
  • Vinegar (1 tbsp)
  • Red chilly sauce (1 tbsp)
  • Green chilly sauce (1 tbsp)
  • Ginger garlic paste (1-2 tbsp)
  • Salt (As per taste)
  • Green chili (1 tbsp)

Procedure for Making Manchurian Recipe (bolls):-

  • Take a Pot of suitable size.
  • First, add it finely chopped cabbage, ginger garlic paste, cornflour, oil, green chili, salt, garam masala, green coriander leaves.
  • Mix all ingredients very well.
  • Heat the oil.
  • Take a little amount of mixture (lemon size) and make a round shape.
  • Firstly place a small ball of mixture in the pan to check whether the ball is splattering or not in the oil.
  • If the ball splatters then add some more cornflour to the mixture.
  • After checking the oil.
  • Then fry all the balls until they become golden brown in color.

Procedure for Making Manchurian recipe Gravy:-


  • Take a pan of a suitable size.
  • Preheat a pan, pour 2 tbsp oil after heating oil adds jeers, then ginger garlic paste, chopped onion, green chilly and cook until the onion gets brown in color.
  • After that add cabbage and capsicum.
  • Then we add tomato sauce (for little sweetness), add chilly sauce (as per your test increase or decrease the quantity), add soya sauce and vinegar too.
  • Take a small bowl and add 1-2 tbsp cornflour and mix well with water.
  • Add a mixture of cornflour and water in the pan and mix well with the vegetables.
  • After that add salt (as per taste).
  • Cook the gravy until they become some thick in consistency.
  • Now the gravy is ready to add a Manchurian ball and mix it well.
  • Add Green coriander leaves (3-4 tbsp) and mix it.
  • Now Veg Manchurian is ready for serve.

Very delicious and tasty veg Manchurian is prepared.


  • If you want you to add the small pieces of garlic in the gravy after jeera you can add.
  • The amount of sauces is increased or decrease as per your requirements or your test.
  • After adding ginger garlic paste cook them properly. if they are not cooked properly the taster is not good.
  • After adding Manchurian in the gravy cook it for 2-3 min.
